A Place to Rebuild, Belong & Become.
A recovery and housing community where individuals find hope, restoration, and purpose.
Creating a model for recovery and housing—one that transforms lives and communities.
A Crisis We Can’t Ignore
Across Windsor-Essex, and Chatham-Kent, addiction and homelessness are increasing in both scale and severity.
Many Individuals are living with unresolved trauma—often expressed through cycles of addiction, instability, and disconnection.
While many organizations are doing meaningful work, the scale of this crisis has surpassed the capacity of existing systems, leaving many without a clear path forward.
Why This Matters
The System isn’t Built for Long-Term Recovery
Across Ontario, individuals face a system that is fragmented and not built for long-term recovery.
Key gaps include:
– Limited access to detox and long wait times
– Short-term treatment with little follow-up support
– Over capacity in shelters and lack of stable housing
– Barriers to entry and unaffordable programs
– Fragmented services that individuals must navigate alone
These gaps keep people trapped in cycles of crisis, without a clear path forward. What’s needed is a connected, long-term approach that supports lasting stability.
The Foundation of Hope Recovery Community
A Fully Integrated Recovery-to-Housing Community
Our model creates a connected pathway that guides individuals from crisis to long-term stability—bringing together recovery, transitional housing, and community integration into one coordinated system of care.
Instead of treating trauma, addiction, homelessness, and reintegration as separate challenges, it supports individuals through every stage of their journey—from outreach to recovery, housing, and beyond—creating a clear path forward where one has often been missing.
Real Results. Real Impact
These results are built on years of hands-on recovery work in our community—demonstrating the impact of combining recovery, housing, and long-term support into one connected model of care.
Our Seven-Stage Pathway
Our seven-stage pathway guides individuals from crisis to long-term stability—providing the structure, support, and continuity that is often missing in traditional systems.
Each stage builds on the one before it, ensuring individuals are supported at every step—from outreach and assessment to recovery, housing, and reintegration into the community.
This is not a series of disconnected services—it is one continuous path forward.

The Vision
A Recovery Campus
The Peter & Cathy Quiring Foundation is building The Foundation of Hope—a recovery campus designed as a safe, structured community where individuals can move through every stage of recovery in one place.
Bringing together recovery programs, transitional housing, life skills training, and long-term support, the campus creates a single, connected environment—eliminating the need to navigate fragmented systems.
It is designed to provide stability, connection, and continuity of care, offering a clear path forward from crisis to long-term independence.
This is more than housing—it is a community built for recovery, growth, and lasting change.
Supportive housing for men and women
On-site recovery and counselling programs
Life skills and workforce development
A safe, structured, and professionally supported community
